DoItForDeepState uses political satire and sharp commentary to promote civic engagement, government transparency, and informed citizenship. We believe humor is the most powerful tool for political discourse.
Do you think government spending should be more transparent?
DoItForDeepState is a satirical civic engagement platform created by Elias Joseph Karam. We use humor, irony, and sharp commentary to shine a light on how government works (and does not work) for everyday citizens.
Our name is itself satire: the "deep state" is a popular conspiracy theory. We embrace the absurdity to make a serious point. Democracy works best when citizens are informed, engaged, and unafraid to ask tough questions. Through our articles, tools, and community, we encourage exactly that.
